GENEVA, NY -- #7 Tufts knocked out Rowan of the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament, 1-0, in a first-round matchup on Saturday at William Smith.

Calista Burke made six saves in net, but it was the Jumbos' Elsi Aires scoring 1:59 into the second half to account for the scoring.
Rowan was limited to two shots on the day while Tufts compiled 15 shots. Burke would make four of her stops in the second half.
Tufts moves on to play the host William Smith, who were 2-1 winners over Penn State-Harrisburg in Saturday's first contest, tomorrow in a 1 p.m. start.
The Profs bow out of the NCAA Tournament after making its 16th appearance in the national postseason.
