GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan men's soccer team, which captured the 2024 NJAC title, has been picked as the top team in the
2025 NJAC Preseason Coaches Poll, with the Profs receiving eight of a possible 10 first-place votes.
Rowan went 7-0-2 in the conference to earn the regular-season title and then went on to win their second championship in the last three seasons.
The Profs finished the year with a 12-5-5 record and were nationally-ranked for most of the season, reaching a high of #9 in the poll. Rowan reached the NCAA Tournament for the 31st time in the program's history, and the seventh under head coach Scott Baker, where they fell to Vassar in the first round.

Johnny Troiano, the 2024 NJAC Offensive Player of the Year, returns to lead the Profs after he tallied 16 goals and seven assists.
Following the Profs in the poll is Montclair State with one first-place vote at the number-two spot, with Stockton, Rutgers-Camden and Ramapo rounding out the top five. Rutgers-Newark is sixth and Kean is seventh, also with a first-place vote, as TCNJ, William Paterson and NJCU completes the poll.
The Profs, who received votes in the Top 25, will open the 2025 season for Rowan Athletics with a 3 p.m. game at NYU on Friday, August 29 (game played at NJIT in Newark, NJ). Rowan will play its first home game on Sunday, August 31 at 1 p.m. against #22 Franklin & Marshall.
