KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rowan's Drew Amos, Taz Cantey, Chris McCarron and Mikey Robinson, Jr., have been named to the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual players.

The NABC Honors Court is comprised of junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. This year, over 2,400 players earned the recognition.

Amos graduated in May with his degree in health and physical education. He played in a career-best 26 games this season, making two starts. Amos opened the year scoring a season-best 11 points against Ithaca and shot 3-for-4 from the field in a win at Catholic. He was named to the 2024-25 NJAC All-Academic Team and is a three-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete.

Cantey, a junior business major, played in 23 games and made 20 starts in his first season with the Profs. He ranked third on the team in scoring with 12.3 points per game, while averaging 3.8 rebounds and shooting 49.5 percent from the field. Cantey earned NJAC Player of the Week honors in January after averaging 22 points in a pair of Rowan wins. He was recognized as a Rowan Scholar-Athlete this year.

A junior finance major, McCarron made a career-best eight starts this season. He reached double figures three times, including a career-high 20 point performance as he hit 4-of-7 from three-point range in a win at Kean. McCarron is a three-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete and received NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention in 2024-25.

Robinson, Jr., who is pursuing his master's in business administration, returned to the Profs in January and saw action in six games. He went 3-for-4 from the field to tally eight points against Drew.

"Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated."
