GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan's spring teams are continuing their great success and all are now ranked among the top teams in the nation. The undefeated softball team leads the way, rising to #2 in the NFCA Poll with the men's track & field team moving up to #4.
The softball team, at 28-0, owns the longest winning streak in any NCAA division and is the nation's only undefeated squad. The #2 Profs will put their record to the test with home games against Stockton on Wednesday and Ramapo on Saturday.
The men's outdoor track & field team moved up to 4th from 7th in the USTFCCCA rankings with the women's outdoor track & field team making their entrance into the national poll for the first time in more than five years, coming in at #12. Both teams will host their only home meet of the season on Saturday with the Oscar Moore Invitational.
Rowan's women's lacrosse team, currently 9-1, is #11 in the NCAA's National Power Index and will face off against fourth-ranked Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday.
The Profs' baseball team is ranked 20th in the nation and will be back in action on Wednesday at Stockton for a single game rescheduled from last week.
