GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan has been picked second in the 2025 NJAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll, and received two first-place votes, coming off the 2024 season in which it was the league's runner-up.
The 2025 Profs return their top six scorers from last year, led by a pair of 100-goal scorers in
Elaina Corson and
Molly Green. Corson had a team-high 61 goals last season and was named to the All-Region First Team as well as the All-Conference First Team.
Green is a two-time NJAC Midfielder of the Year who amassed 68 points with 55 goals and 13 assists. She earned All-Region First Team honors for the second time and was tied with Corson for the lead in goals per game (4.4) in NJAC contests.

Hannah Lombardo (19 goals) is back in the midfield while All-NJAC selections
Sophia Schiavo and
Katie Montenero will solidify the defense along with goalie
Mel Rodgers.
Calista Burke (43 goals) and
Fiona Lockhart (31goals) are among the other top scorers back for the Profs as well as assist leader
Trish Gillen (29).
Defending champion TCNJ was chosen first, with Stockton earning the third spot in the poll. Montclair State is fourth, followed by Kean and Ramapo.
Rowan opens the season on Saturday at Ursinus and will play its home opener on Wednesday, February 26 against Drew (4 p.m.).
