Angela Oliveto, and
Sara Wiedeman were named to the College Sports Communicators Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team announced on Tuesday.
The requirements for College Sports Communicators Academic All-District are a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and sophomore or higher standing. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the games.
This is the second honor for the Giordano sisters as the others score the award for the first time.
Baker, a marketing major, and J. Giordano, an early childhood education major, anchored the backline, helping limit opponents to just 10 goals in 20 games this year with 12 shutouts and a 0.48 goals against average.
Brown is a psychology major who saw action in 18 contests and added one goal. Oliva Giordano majors in Exercise Science and led the team with 14 goals and 35 points.
Oliveto is an electrical and computer engineering major who tallied six goals and three assists while Wiedeman, an elementary education major, contributed six goals and seven assists.
Julianna Giordano was
named the 2025 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, joining sister Olivia, Baker and Wiedeman on the first team. Oliveto picked up a spot on the second team.
The Profs went 13-2-5 this season, advancing to the NJACÂ Championship and earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
