Giordano Earns Marquee Award as #11 Women's Soccer Places Eight on NJAC All-Conference Teams

PITMAN, NJ -- Julianna Giordano was named the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year to highlight a total of eight Profs on the NJAC All-Conference teams announced on Wednesday.

Giordano joins sister Olivia Giordano, Lianna SanFelice, Sara Wiedeman, and MaKala Baker on the first team. Angela Oliveto earned a spot on the second team with Ava Morales and Leah Edinger chosen as honorable mention.

This is the fourth year in a row that the Giordano sisters and SanFelice earn all-conference accolades. Wiedeman nabs her second while Baker, Oliveto, Morales, and Edinger all score the honor for the first time.

This season Giordano helped spearhead a backline that has allowed just seven goals in 17 games including 12 shutouts and a team 0.41 goals against average. Offensively, the senior added three goals and three assists.

Sister Olivia is tied for the NJAC lead with 33 points, totaling 13 goals and seven assists and leads the conference with seven game-winning goals. The 2024 NJAC Offensive Player of the Year, she became the fifth player in program history to surpass 100 career points and now sits third in all-time points (118).

SanFelice's 10 assists were tops in the conference and a career best. The senior has added two goals. Wiedeman is second on the team with 19 points on six goals and seven assists. Baker was part of that defense that yielded just under five shots a game.

Oliveto put together a career-best 15 points on six goals and three assists. Morales tallied a goal in 13 games as a defensive midfielder. Edinger led the NJAC in goals against average (0.43 GAA) and tied for the league lead with eight shutouts.

The #11 ranked Profs, fresh off its wild shootout victory over TCNJ in the NJAC Semifinal, advance to play Montclair State in the NJAC Championship this Friday in Montclair, NJ. Tickets for the title game must be purchased online. There will be no physical ticket sales/cash transaction at any tournament venue.
