PHILADELPHIA, PA -- For the second year in a row,
Julianna Giordano and
Olivia Giordano were named to the
Philly-SIDA Women's Soccer Academic All-Area Team.
The sister duo helped lead the Profs to a 13-2-5 record, the #2 seed in the NJAC Tournament, and to an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament,
This season, both Julianna and Olivia have earned All-NJAC First Team honors, All-Region and All-American accolades from United Soccer Coaches (USC) and College Sports Communicators CSC Academic All-District Team awards.
Julianna was selected the 2025 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year spearheading the Rowan defense to a 0.48 goals against average (with just 10 goals allowed all season) which topped the NJAC and in the top 20 in Division III. Offensively, she added three goals and three assists.
Olivia put together a career-high 35 points this season on 14 goals and seven assists. She exits the program third all-time in scoring with 120 career points. The senior netted her 50th career goal in a win over Ramapo on October 25th, becoming the third player in team history to hit the 50-goal plateau.
Joining the Giordano sisters on the team from last season are Nicole Dedes and Carly Yeager from Jefferson and Penn's Annabel Austin. This year's squad also features Tia Argento of Eastern, Kianna Barber of West Chester, Abbey Cook of Penn, Kyra Lesko of Jefferson, and the Swarthmore trio of Aminah Evans, Ava Gizzie, and Celia Kanellakos.
