GREENSBORO, NC -- Michael Fracchiolla and Jack Watson were in action on the first day of the 2024 Division III Swimming and Diving Championships held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center, but the duo did not qualify for the finals in the respective preliminaries for each student-athlete.

Fracchiolla swam a 1:54.75 in the 200 IM prelims, but did not finish in the top 8 to move on the finals.

Watson was in the 50 free prelims, but his time of 20.67 kept him out of the top 8 spots.

On Friday, Watson will take part in the 100 free preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m.

On the women's side, Ella Pennington steps onto the blocks in the 100 fly trials also starting at 10 a.m.
