Elliott III Chosen USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country Metro Region Coach of the Year

GLASSBORO, NJ -- Head coach Shedrick Elliott III has been named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Metro Region Coach of the Year.

The first-year coach helped lead the Profs to a New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship as well as the NCAA Metro Regional Championship, the latter of which is the program's first.

Elliott III was also voted the 2024 NJAC Coach of the Year as Rowan claimed its first conference title since 2019. He also guided four all-conference selections in Mia Guerra, Anna Sasse, Ally Wernik, and Gabriella Pagano. Guerra won the NJAC Championship race and was named the 2024 NJAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year.

In winning the Metro Region, the Profs have automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship that takes place this Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana. Rose-Hulman will serve as the hosts.
