GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan will face Rhode Island College in a first-round matchup of the 2023 Division III Women's Basketball Tournament this Friday, March 3rd at 6 p.m. held at the University of Scranton as the pairings were announced on Monday.

Friday's other matchup has the host Royals taking on St. Joseph's (Maine) at 8:30 p.m. The first-round winners will meet on Saturday, March 4th at 8 p.m. in second-round action.

The Profs (20-8) punched its ticket to the dance with its eighth New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship last Saturday as Rowan knocked off the two-time defending champ NJCU in the title game, 79-70.

The Anchorwomen (24-3) won its third-straight Little East Conference crown after winning at Eastern Connecticut State, 61-52, on Saturday.
