STATEN ISLAND, NY -- The Rowan Men's Indoor Track & Field team concluded a busy weekend with events at the Columbia University Challenge and the McElligott Invitational at Haverford.

At the Columbia Challenge held at the NYC Armory on Saturday, the 4x400 relay team of
Amara Conte,
Evan Corcoran,
Nana Agyemang, and
Jah'mere Beasley faced top Division I schools and turned in the top time in Division III with a mark of 3:15.08 to finish third in the event.
Additionally, Conte was eighth in the 400 (48.93) while Corcoran also finished ninth in the 200 meters (22.14).
Marquise Young highlighted the Profs at Haverford with a first-place finish in the 60 meter hurdles (8.32).
Ola Porbeni was second (8.49), Jason Agyemang third (8.78),
Anaias Hughes fourth (8.86), and
Michael Lawrence fifth (8.89) respectively.
Krish Patel hit two PR's on the day, first in the shot (13.20 meters) and later in the weight throw (14.03).
Masai Byrd picked up a runner-up finish in the 60 meters (7.09) and a third in the 200 (23.22).
On Friday, the team competes in the Metropolitan Championships up at Ocean Breeze.
