GLASSBORO, NJ -- #3 Rowan claimed three of the four top regional awards from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as
Jason Agyemang was named the USTFCCCA Metro Region Track Athlete of the Year, head coach
Dustin Dimit was chosen the Metro Region Head Coach of the Year, and
Norm Tate was selected the Metro Region Head Assistant Coach of the Year.
This is the fifth year for Dimit and sixth year in a row that Tate has been honored.
Agyemang became Rowan's latest Division III National Champion, winning the 60-meter hurdles at the Indoor Nationals, clocking in at 7.76, narrowly missing the meet record by 0.01 seconds. In doing so, though, Agyemang became the third fastest performer in NCAA DIII history.
Dimit led the Profs to a third-place finish at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships, earning four First-Team All-America honors led by Agyemang. Rowan won the team title at the NJAC Indoor Championships, winning 11 events, as well as the AARTFC Indoor Championships this season.
Tate guided 10 Profs to earn All-America honors at the Indoor Nationals, as the Profs placed four student-athletes in the top 5 in the 60 meter hurdle finals. That group of hurdlers (Agyemang,
Marquise Young,
Kwaku Nkrumah, and
Jamir Brown) have all-time DIII indoor rankings of No. 1, No. 3, No. 7 and No. 11, with Brown holding the national record at 7.72.
