STATEN ISLAND, NY -- Rowan got the 2025-26 season off to a good start at Friday's Fasttrack Season Opener at Ocean Breeze.

Kwaku Nkrumah (7.945) edged out teammate
Jason Agyemang (7.947) by 0.002 seconds in the 60 meter hurdle final as the last two national champions in this event raced for the first time this season

Dallas Hohney tied with Marist's Joaquin Bell-Andrade for the top time in the 800 meters (1:54.99)

Rajahn Dixon won the 200 meters (21.53) while
Masai Byrd came close to his school mark (6.83) in the 60 meter invitational finals (6.88) where he was third

Nick Garman ran an indoor-best time in the 400 meters (50.28)
- In the high jump, Rowan took four of the five top spots including a 2.08 meter effort from winner
Jamile Gantt;
Arrington Rhym was third (2.05 meters),
Noah Wampole fourth (2.00) and
Isaiah Davenport fifth (2.00)
- Dixon, Hohney, Garman, and
Teddy Wilson took first place (3:17.55) in the 4x400 relay

Anthony Parker made his Rowan debut, winning the long jump (7.08 meters)
