GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan is included in the latest national rankings with outdoor track & field releasing its first polls of the season. Here's a rundown of the latest information.
Baseball moves up to #7 in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25, two spots from last week's poll, and are 13th in the Collegiate Baseball poll.

Also on the rise is softball, who comes in at #19 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Poll, up from #20 a week ago.

In the first batch of rankings from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the Rowan Men's Outdoor Team comes in at #3 nationally and #1 in the Metro Region. The women's outdoor track & field team is ranked #19 nationally while holding the top spot in the Metro Region.

This week, baseball (11-4) will host Penn State-Harrisburg on Wednesday before road games at Cabrini on Friday and at William Paterson on Saturday to kick off NJAC play.
The softball team (13-5) has its home opener on Wednesday against Haverford then welcome William Paterson to kickstart NJAC action on Saturday.
Both the men's and women's outdoor track & field teams are in action this weekend at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener beginning on Friday.
