It marks the Profs' second appearance in the last three seasons played, as they went to the 2019 NCAA Tournament after earning the NJAC's automatic bid as the conference champion.

The Profs, now 23-5, reached the championship game of the NJAC Tournament where they were edged by Stockton, 95-91. Prior to that loss, Rowan had won eight games in a row.
