Julia Cavicchio,
Julia Patrone and
Tess Herman have all been named to the All-Region IV Teams as selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Castagnola, Guinan, Cavicchio and Patrone were named to the All-Region First Team with Herman receiving a spot on the Second Team.

Castagnola earns NFHCA All-Region honors for the fourth time, with three years on the First Team, while Guinan receives her third selection to the All-Region First Team. Patrone is selected to the All-Region squad for the second year, but makes her first appearance on the First Team, while Cavicchio and Herman are first-time selections.

Castagnola, the Profs' leader, had 21 goals and 10 assists this season and tallied six game-winning goals and as well as her first two career hat tricks. Named the NJAC Midfielder of the Year for the second time, she earned All-NJAC First Team honors for the fourth year in a row. Castagnola ends her highly decorated career as Rowan's all-time leading scorer with 163 points (66 goals, 31 assists). She was also named to the NCAA All-Championship Team as the Profs reached the Semifinals.

Guinan tallied 10 goals and four assists this year from her spot in the midfield, and contributed three gamewinners. In addition to earning All-Region honors for the third time, she was also an All-NJAC First Team selection for three consecutive years. Guinan closes out her career ranking third on the Profs' all-time scoring list with 51 goals and 26 assists.
Cavicchio, a sophomore defender, was the anchor of a strong Rowan defense that allowed only 24 goals in 23 games this season. An All-NJAC First Team honoree, she helped the Profs limit the opponents to 159 shots, compared to Rowan's 517. Cavicchio also contributed offensively, recording eight goals and seven assists to rank fifth on the team in scoring.

Patrone, a sophomore, receives a selection to the All-Region Team for the second time, but makes her debut on the First Team. Rowan's leading scorer with 24 goals and 11 assists, she was named to the All-NJAC First Team as she led the conference in goals. The forward recorded four hat tricks this season and had at least one point in all but four games.

Herman, a freshman defender, also played a key role on the defense which limited the opponents to 24 goals. She was named the NJAC Rookie of the Year and was a four-time conference Player of the Week. Herman also chipped in with four goals this year, including one gamewinner.

The third-ranked Profs ended their year at 21-2, while making their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Semifinals, where they fell to eventual champion Middlebury in the championship hosted at Rowan. The Profs tied for the second most victories in school history, and in the past two years, have compiled a 39-5 record.
