MAHWAH, NJ -- The Rowan University Women's Swimming & Diving Team had three multi-placewinners to help the Profs to a 106-67 New Jersey Athletic Conference win at Ramapo Thursday afternoon. The dual meet was a makeup that was previously scheduled back in November.
FINAL RESULTS
The win improves the squad to 4-0-1 on the year and 3-0-1 in conference action.
Natalina Baldinazzo scored a first place finish in the 200 free (2:04.56) and a second place in the 100 fly (1:03.70).
Jordan McChesney took first in the 200 IM (2:20.74) and third in the 100 backstroke (1:06.85) while newcomer
Alexis Kidchob won the 100 backstroke (1:04.25) and was third in the 50 free (27.09).
Other first-place finishers included
Veronica Alferez in the 500 free (5:24.96) and
Lindsay Cave in the 100 free (57.56).
The Roadrunners' Carissa Campbell placed in the top three in three events with teammate Fiona Misiura in two.
The team is back in the pool on Saturday at Swarthmore. The meet will go on as a dual meet with the host Garnet after WPI withdrew.
