RADNOR, PA - Kristiina Castagnola scored two goals to help lead the #10 Rowan field hockey team to a 4-1 win over Cabrini in non-conference action today. The Profs (4-2) have now won two in a row.

Freshman Julia Patrone opened the scoring for the Profs at 9:09 with an unassisted goal, with Liz Fox following up with a goal at 20:17 off a pass from Rachel Stone.

Cabrini (4-5) got on the board as the second half opened when Caroline Gallagher scored at 30:22.

Castagnola then pushed the Profs' lead to 3-1 at 32:39 with her first of the game. She then followed with another unassisted goal for her team-leading seventh goal of the year at 52:39 to close out the scoring.

Rowan outshot the home team, 27-2, and goalie Abby Hainsworth made one save to earn the victory.

The Profs are on the road for one more game, at Alvernia on September 29, before returning home from the four-game road swing on October 1 to open NJAC play against Montclair State.
