GLASSBORO, NJ -
Ella Toll had a goal and an assist as #10 Rowan defeated SUNY New Paltz, 3-0, and clinched its sixth straight NJAC Field Hockey Regular-Season Championship. The Profs (14-3; 6-0), winners of 14 consecutive games, will be the top seed in the 2026 NJAC Championship, and begin play by hosting the semifinals on November 4th. The Profs will be seeking their sixth consecutive conference title.
Â
Toll had a hand in Rowan's second and third goals after
Sydney Kowalczyk got things started for the Profs. The sophomore took a lead pass from
Tori Tullio and carried it 10 yards and then beat New Paltz's Grace Grant to the far side of the cage at 18:34. It was Kowalczyk's 17th goal of the year, as the Profs' scoring leader.
Â
Paige Gray added Rowan's second goal in the third quarter after she made the initial pass on the corner and
Ella Toll took a shot that Gray knocked in at the post for her fourth of the season. Â
Â
At 46:43 Kowalczyk took a shot on a corner that was blocked. Toll collected it, dribbled into the circle and sent a shot that went through the cluster of players in front of the cage for her first goal of the year.
Â
With Rowan holding a decisive 13-1 advantage in shots,
Ella Morton only faced one shot by SUNY New Paltz (5-11; 2-4) and did not have to make any saves while recording her fourth solo shutout of the year.
Â
The Profs will be back in action on Wednesday for a Top 10 matchup against #7 Salisbury at 6 p.m.
