MARIETTA, OHIO - The seventh-ranked Rowan baseball team is one win away from the NCAA Division III World Series as the Profs take the field today against either Penn State Behrend or Marietta in the NCAA Division III Regionals. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Don and Sue Schaly Field at Pioneer Park.
The Regional champion will earn a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship series to be held at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, IA, from June 4-9.

The Profs are 3-0 in the tournament, having defeated #4 Marietta, the host team, 2-0, Saturday night. Sophomore
Eli Atiya, now 9-1 on the season, kept Marietta off the board, striking out five and not allowing any walks, while giving up just five hits. Senior closer
Zach Listro entered in the ninth and recorded his career-high seventh save of the season.

Marietta and Penn State Behrend are set to meet today at noon, with the winner going on to meet the Profs and the loser being eliminated. Rowan can then clinch the title with just one more victory.
