PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Rowan University women's outdoor track & field team began competition at the Penn Relays on Thursday. It is the 125th running of the relays at Franklin Field.
The 4x100 relay of
Sidney McLeod-Whitener (so. Philadelphia, PA/Friends' Central School),
Aaniyah Robinson (so. Totowa, NJ/Passaic County Tech.),
Myiah Sturdivant (so. Sicklerville, NJ/Timber Creek Reg.) and
Darielle Cross (jr. Cliffwood, NJ/Matawan Reg.) finished 30th in the college heat, crossing the finish line in 47.69.
Michelle Macauley (sr. Somerset, NJ/Franklin Twp.) participated in the College Women's Long Jump College. She placed 31st overall with a leap of 16' 6" (5.03 m).
Melina Johnson (jr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.),
Claire Incantalupo (sr. Sparta, NJ/Sparta),
Dani Nicklas (jr. Bellmawr, NJ/Audubon) and Sturdivant competed in the 4x400 meter relay. The squad recorded a team's best time of 3:55.66 for 40th place in the college heats.
