GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's swim team defeated conference opponent Ramapo College, 207-55.
 
The Profs have a 4-1 record and they are undefeated in the New Jersey Athletic Conference with a 4-0 mark.  The Roadrunners are 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
 
The 400 medley relay of Abigail Brous, Emily Kopchick, Daria Mnich and Jordan McChesney had a winning time of 4:04.68.  The 200 freestyle relay took first in 1:43.58.  Alex Bambrick, Elizabeth O'Brien, Nicole Harms and Brous made up the free relay.
 
McChesney finished first in the 50 (24.71) and 100 (55.10) freestyles.  Kopchick swam a winning time of 1:08.67 in the 100 breaststroke.  She also won the 200 breaststroke in 2:32.13.  Brous claimed first in the 100 backstroke (1:01.05).
 
Carlee Timmins was the winner in the 1000 (10:47.18) and 500 (5:17.75) freestyles.  Taylor DeGennaro touched first (2:19.32) in the 200 individual medley.
 
Rowan finished first through third in the 200 freestyle.  Bambrick came in first (2:00.77) followed by Emily LaBenski, second (2:02.02) and McChesney, third (2:02.32).  In the 200 backstroke, Bambrick was the winner (2:11.90) while DeGennaro had a second place (2:16.07) and Brianna Gutierrez took third (2:18.19). Gutierrez had a second place (11:22.65) in the 1000 freestyle.
 
Veronica Alferez took first (2:15.55) in the 200 butterfly while Jordan Jones (2:19.37) was third.  Alferez had a second place (5:18.98) in the 500 freestyle.  Jones finished third (1:03.82) in the 100 butterfly.  Howarth came in second (2:32.90) in the 200 breaststroke and LaBenski was third (2:34.13).  In the 200 individual medley, Howarth and Lindsay Cave were second (2:21.10) and third (2:21.52) respectively.    
 
In the 100 backstroke, Kylie Salerno took second (1:02.80) and O'Brien had a third place (1:03.05). O'Brien finished second (56.85) in the 100 free and Salerno was third (57.03).  Harms had second places in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.17) and 100 butterfly (1:02.77).  Megan Miller came in second (26.08) in the 50 free and Erin Quay was third (26.95).
