GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University football team is back in action this Saturday, Sept. 15, for its first home game of the year. The Profs will face William Paterson University for its second New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) on the season.
Last week, Rowan won its first conference game and moved to 2-0, with a 20-17 victory over Southern Virginia University. The Pioneers dropped its first contest against FDU Florham, 31-17.
This will be the 48th meeting all-time between Rowan and William Paterson. The Profs hold a dominate 40-7 advantage, including 10 straight victories.
The first 1,000 fans will get a free funnel cake or fried Oreos. There will be inflatables to enjoy and a hamster ball race at halftime. There is a beer garden for patrons 21 and older. After the game, there will be a fireworks display.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. General admission is $8 and visiting college students with ID, children and senior citizens are $5. Children under three years old are free. Rowan students are admitted free with ID.
