Women's Lacrosse Cruises To 20-3 Win Over Rutgers-Camden

Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ - The 21st-ranked Rowan University women's lacrosse team defeated visiting Rutgers-Camden, 20-3 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Tuesday night.
 
The Profs improve to 12-2 overall and finish the NJAC slate with a 5-1 record. The Scarlet Raptors drop to 2-10 and they are 0-5 in the conference.
 
Attacks Mikala Gillespie (jr. Ocean City, NJ/Ocean City) and Maddie Bray (jr. Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) tallied three goals apiece. Bray added five draw controls and four caused turnovers. Midfielder Nicole Mickendrow (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) and attack Kim Doyle (sr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) each totaled two goals and one assist. Defender/midfielder Taylor Gretz (jr. Woolwich Twp., NJ/Kingsway Reg.) and midfielder Julia Grlica (fr. Jefferson, NJ/Jefferson Twp.) netted two goals apiece. Gretz also controlled eight draws.
 
Midfielder Abby Daigle (fr. Millville, NJ/Millville), defenders McKayla Earley (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) and Kerriann Harrington (fr. Mahwah, NJ/Suffern (NY)), defender/midfielder Liz Kramer (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) and attacks Ashley Lechliter (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.) and Reese Parr (jr. Freehold, NJ/Howell) all scored one time. Attacks Alex DeGaris (jr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) and Julia Stumpf (so. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) each contributed with one assist. Goalkeeper Emma Frost (jr. Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Reg.) turned away four saves for her first victory of the season.
 
Defender Cara Racobaldo (jr. Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) produced two goals for Rutgers-Camden and midfielder Nicole Martin (sr. Delran, NJ/Delran) had one. Racobaldo also recorded three draw controls. Goalies Brittany Watson (fr. Millville, NJ/Millville) and Caitlyn Snyder (so. Somerdale, NJ/Sterling) stopped six and two shots respectively.
 
Rowan ends the regular season at home versus Neumann University on Thursday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
