Women's Lacrosse Routs NJAC Opponent Ramapo, 21-3

Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ - The 23rd-ranked Rowan University women's lacrosse team defeated visiting Ramapo College, 21-3 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Profs (10-1, NJAC 3-0) have won nine straight contests. The Roadrunners drop to 5-6 overall and they are 0-3 in the conference.
 
Attack Maddie Bray (jr. Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) led Rowan with seven goals and one assist. She recorded her 100th career goal with her final tally. Defender/midfielder Taylor Gretz (jr. Woolwich Twp., NJ/Kingsway Reg.) netted three goals and added four draw controls. Midfielder Abby Daigle (fr. Millville, NJ/Millville), defender/midfielder Liz Kramer (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) and attack Ashley Lechliter (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.) each hit the net twice.
 
Attack Kim Doyle (sr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) tallied one goal and two assists while midfielder Nicole Mickendrow (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) contributed with one goal and one helper. Attacks Mikala Gillespie (jr. Ocean City, NJ/Ocean City), Alex DeGaris (jr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) and Dara Hennessy (fr. Marmora, NJ/Ocean City) scored one time apiece. Defender Kaitlyn Schneider (so. Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County Reg.) picked up seven ground balls and Kramer had six. Kramer caused five turnovers followed by Schneider with four. Goalies Erin Horner (sr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) and Emma Frost (jr. Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Reg.) each stopped five shots.
 
Ramapo midfielder Alyssa Tachon (sr. Pequannock, NJ/Pequannock) produced two goals and midfielder Gabi Davidson (jr. Oradell, NJ/River Dell) had one. Davidson also controlled seven draws. Midfielder Colleen Manley (sr. Roseland, NJ/West Essex) chipped in with two caused turnovers. Goalkeeper Monica Bubello (sr. Middletown, NJ/Middletown S.) turned away 11 shots.
 
The Profs travel to The College of New Jersey in a battle for first place in the NJAC on Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m.
