Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rutgers-Camden baseball team shut out Rowan University, 11-0 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Thursday.
The Scarlet Raptors are 16-6 overall and in first place of the conference with a 6-1 mark. The Profs have a 19-5 record and they are 3-4 in the NJAC.
Right-hander Ian Scheidemann (jr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.)pitched a complete game for his fifth win and second shutout on the season. He (5-0) only gave up five hits and had six strikeouts. Righty

Second baseman Chris Jones (jr. Washington Twp., NJ/Bishop Eustace Prep) paced Rutgers-Camden with three hits (five at bats), three RBIs, two doubles and two runs. Left fielder John Tedeschi (so. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) contributed with two hits, three RBIs and a triple. First baseman R.J. Concepcion (fr. Audubon, NJ/Audubon) totaled three hits in four at bats, two RBIs and two runs.
Catcher Tyler Travis (so. Berlin, NJ/Eastern Reg.) chipped in with three hits and one run. Outfielder Billy Eisler (fr. Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) added two hits and two runs. Designated hitter Matt Yanick (so. Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra) produced a double, one RBI and one run. Right fielder Brandon Cornelius (sr. Sicklerville, NJ/Timber Creek Reg.) crossed the plate twice and third baseman Matthew Stoots (so. Browns Mills, NJ/Pemberton) scored one time.
For the Profs, second baseman

The Scarlet Raptors had a 5-0 lead after one run in the second inning and four in the third. They broke the game open with a six-run eighth inning.
