Box Score GALLOWAY, NJ - The Rowan University women's lacrosse team defeated host Stockton University, 17-8 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Tuesday night.

It was the seventh win in a row for the Profs, who are 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. They are 23
rd in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Poll. The Ospreys have an 8-4 record with a 1-1 NJAC mark.

Kim Doyle (sr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) led Rowan with five goals. Attack
Ashley Lechliter (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.) netted four goals while attack
Maddie Bray (jr. Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) and midfielder
Nicole Mickendrow (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) tallied two apiece. Bray recorded her 100
th career point in the contest.

For Stockton, attack Michaella Butrico (so. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield), midfielder Kristen Russo (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) and defender/midfielder Gaby Ojeda (jr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) produced two goals apiece. Russo also registered eight draw controls. Attack/midfielders Danielle Graham (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.) and Nicole Jandras (fr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) each hit the net one time. Defender Jessica Catalioto (fr. Ringwood, NJ/Lakeland Reg.) chipped in with one assist. Goalie Stevie Ader (fr. Califon, NJ/Voorhees) made 15 saves.

Butrico scored the first goal at 28:22. It was the Ospreys' only lead of the contest. The Profs responded with four straight tallies as part of a 9-2 run. Doyle potted three goals in the stretch and Rowan had a 9-3 advantage (8:46). Stockton cut the deficit to three (9-6) on goals by Russo (8:17, 4:06) and Ojeda (4:22). Doyle had the last marker of the half and the Profs were ahead 10-6 at the break. Rowan outscored the Ospreys, 7-2 in the second period. Lechliter led all scorers with three goals in the stanza.
