Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Ramapo College men's basketball team stopped Rowan University's second half surge for an 86-76 win in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Wednesday night.
Forward Christopher Moseley (sr. Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) led the way with 18 points and guard James Long (sr. Cliffwood, NJ/St. Joseph (Metuchen)) followed with 15. Forward Thomas Bonacum (sr. Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) chipped in with 13 points and guard Patrick Peterson (so. Blauvelt, NY/Tappan Zee) added 10. Forward Nick Stanek (sr. Royersford, PA/Spring-Ford) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds while Bonacum had seven boards and five assists.
The Roadrunners are 11-4 overall and 7-1 in the conference. The Profs have an 8-7 record with a 4-4 NJAC mark.

TJ Booth (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) and guard
DaRon Curry (jr. Deptford, NJ/Phelps School (PA)) each scored 21 points for Rowan. Booth also pulled down eight boards while Curry collected five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Guard
Nick DePersia (jr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) totaled 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Forward
Ramon Wright (jr. East Orange, NJ/Irvington) registered 13 points and eight rebounds.
The Profs were down by 12 (50-38) to start the second period. After Bonacum's basket (19:30), Rowan stormed back with a 17-2 run to take the lead 55-54 with 14:48 on the clock. DePersia scored seven points followed by Wright with six and Curry had four. The score was tied at 58 with 13:14 remaining. Wright (12:41) and Booth (11:56) each had a basket and guard
Walter Harvey (fr. Woolwich, NJ/St. Augustine Prep) sank a three (10:52) to lead by seven (65-56). Curry's jumper (7:59) made the score 69-65.
Ramapo rallied with 12 unanswered points to go ahead 77-69 with 4:38 left. Five Roadrunners scored in the comeback. Booth's three-pointer cut the deficit to five (81-76) at the 1:19 mark. Long had a three-pointer (0:48) and Stanek made two free throws (0:33) to end the game.
In the first half, Ramapo led 14-8 after guard Josh Ford (sr. Fort Lee, NJ/Fort Lee) had a layup at 16:06. Rowan tied the score at 16 (15:24) after an 8-2 spurt with six points from Curry and two by Booth. The Roadrunners had a one-point advantage (20-19) at13:44 then they produced 11 straight points, which made the score 31-19 with 10:14 remaining. Four different players contributed in the run.
Booth hit back-to-back jumpers, DePersia nailed a three and the Profs trailed 39-34 at 4:02. Ramapo had a 12-point advantage (46-34) at 2:15 after a 7-0 spurt. The Roadrunners were ahead 50-38 at the break.
Next, Rowan travels to Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, Jan. 13 for an 8 p.m. conference game.
