Box Score RADNOR, PA – The Rowan University field hockey team defeated Cabrini University, 3-1 on Tuesday night.
 
The Profs scored twice in the second half.  Forward Bridget Boyle (so. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) put Rowan ahead at the 47^th minute.  She had an assist from forward Rachel Galante (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Collingswood).  Galante added an insurance goal (60:39) on a penalty stroke.  
 
Forward Nikki Kotelnicki (jr. Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County Reg.) put Rowan on the scoreboard first at 6:49.  She beat the Cavaliers' goalie who came out of the cage and hit the far post.  Midfielder Jackie Neary (sr. Logan Twp., NJ/Kingsway Reg.) evened the score at 14:07.
 
The Profs improve to 2-3 overall while the Cavaliers drop to 1-4 on the season.  Rowan goalie Carly DeMarco (sr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made one save. For Cabrini, goalie Taylor Bookman (sr. Philadelphia, PA/Little Flower) stopped two shots.
 
Rowan returns home on Saturday, Sept. 16 against Haverford College at noon.
