Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's lacrosse team defeated Kean University, 11-6 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) contest on Saturday.

Megan Donnelly (sr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.), Hofbauer, Hubbs and Herbert. The Profs are 9-5 overall and 2-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Cougars have a 9-5 record with a 2-2 conference mark.
For Kean, attack Emily Stasuk (jr. Baltimore, MD/John Carroll) scored three goals and had one assist. Attack Krista LaMaina (jr. Oaklyn, NJ/Collingswood) totaled one goal and one assist. Midfielder Danielle Tomminelli (sr. Monroe Twp., NJ/Monroe Twp.) and attack Morgan Graham (so. Lake Grove, NY/Ward Melville) produced one goal apiece. Attacks Taylor Hynes (sr. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) and Jamie Lewit (fr. Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) and midfielder Danni LeSaint (fr. Tabernacle, NJ/Seneca) each had one assist. Goalie Nikki Apostolopoulos (jr. Yonkers, NY/The Ursuline School) made 11 saves.
Hofbauer started the game with two straight goals (1:43, 10:50) and LaMaina put the Cougars on the scoreboard with an assist from Stasuk (11:21). Rowan led 4-1 after Hubbs and Gretz each found the net. Stasuk cut the deficit to one (4-3) with 2:42 remaining after two unanswered tallies. Bray made the score 5-3 on a pass from Herbert at the one-minute mark to end the half.
Rowan pulled away in the second period, outscoring Kean 6-3. Bray scored twice and Hofbauer had one goal for an 8-4 advantage at 43:23. Tomminelli made the score 8-5 (46:40) then Bray, Gretz and Hofbauer all posted one tally and the score was 11-5. Graham had the final goal of the game with 24 seconds on the clock.
Next week, Rowan travels to NJAC opponent Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday, April 25 for a 4 p.m. game.
