Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's basketball team suffered a 90-71 defeat to eighth-ranked Ramapo College in the final game of the regular season on Wednesday.
The Profs have a 16-9 record and finish with an 11-7 conference mark. Rowan is the fourth seed in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament and hosts fifth-seeded Montclair State University in a first round game on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. The Roadrunners are 23-2 overall and are the top seed in the conference playoffs (16-2). Ramapo receives a first-round bye and will be home for a semifinal matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
Forwards Sultan Aminu (sr. Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) and Thomas Bonacum (jr. Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) each recorded 20 points for the Roadrunners. They grabbed 14 and 11 rebounds respectively and Bonacum also dished five assists. Forward Christopher Moseley (jr. Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) and guard Josh Ford (jr. Fort Lee, NJ/Fort Lee) tallied 12 points apiece. Forward Nick Stanek (jr. Royersford, PA/Spring-Ford) added 11 points and six boards.

Jeff Haddock (fr. Burlington, NJ/Willingboro) recorded 10 points. Center/forward
Teirique Robinson (jr. Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) and guard
Nick DePersia (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) produced nine and eight points respectively. Guard
Rob DePersia (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) and Robinson each brought down seven rebounds.
The score was tied four times in the first half, with the last coming at 13:38 (16-16). Ramapo went on a 12-4 run for a 28-20 lead with 11:23 on the clock. Bonacum scored six points, Aminu poured in four and Ford had a bucket. Stanek's three (8:35) increased the margin to 11 (36-25). The Profs deposited eight of the next 10 points to cut the deficit to 38-33 (7:58). The Roadrunners had a 9-2 surge for its largest lead of the period at 12 (47-35) with 4:08 on the clock. Four different players scored in the stretch. Curry ended the stanza with a layup (0:02) and Rowan trailed 50-45.
Ramapo opened the second half with a 12-4 rally and the advantage was 13 (62-49) with 16:02 left. Aminu had eight of the points and Moseley added four. The Profs tallied eight straight points to get within five (69-64) at the 10:15 mark. Haddock produced four of the points. The Roadrunners followed with a 19-4 run for their largest cushion of the game at 20 (88-68) and there was 2:44 remaining.
