Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team won 6-0 over Arcadia University on Wednesday night.

Courtney Aquino (sr. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) contributed with two goals while forward
Rachel Galante (so. Mount Laurel, NJ/Collingswood) and midfielder
Nikki Kotelnicki (so. Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County Reg.) each produced one. Midfielder
Jacqui Rosati (so. Haddon Heights, NJ/Paul VI) and back
N'Dea Irvin-Choy (jr. Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) registered one assist apiece.
The Profs improve to 1-2 on the season while the Knights have a 0-3 record. Goalie
Carly DeMarco (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) recorded the shutout. For Arcadia, goalie Brittany Hodson (sr. Hughesville, MD/North Point) made eight saves in 61 minutes and goalie Anne Becker (fr. Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg Area) played the remainder of the game.
Galante started the scoring at 21:36. Boyle hit the left side of the cage with six seconds left in the first half on a cross from Irvin-Choy. Boyle knocked in a rebound for the third goal (43:54). Four minutes later, Aquino found a loose ball and made the score 4-0. Rosati passed the penalty corner at 61:04 to Aquino who blasted a shot into the net. Kotelnicki had the final goal (68:21) with an assist from Boyle.
Rowan travels to Catholic University on Saturday, Sept. 10 for a noon game.
