Box Score LANCASTER, PA – The Franklin & Marshall College field hockey team edged Rowan University, 3-2 in two overtimes on Saturday afternoon.
At 87:03, forward Sydney Cole (jr Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) recorded the winning goal with an assist from midfielder Phoebe Wood (so. Hightstown, NJ/Peddie School). It was Cole's second tally of the contest.
The Diplomats also had one goal from midfielder/forward Erin Coverdale (fr. Lewes, DE/Cape Henlopen). Midfielder Annie Horsley (jr. Pennington, NJ/The Pennington School) and forward Emily Nagle (so. Trappe, PA/Perkiomen Valley) each contributed with an assist.

Rowan was ahead 2-1 after the first half. Rosati started the scoring at 10:54 when she connected with Boyle for the first goal. Coverdale made it 1-1 (17:39) when she slipped past DeMarco after a long pass by Horsley. Boyle deflected Tucker's shot for the second tally (22:39). Cole evened the score at the 55 minute mark and Nagle picked up the assist.
Next, Rowan hosts Arcadia University on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.
