Box Score HAVERFORD, PA – The Rowan University field hockey team shut out Haverford College, 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Jacqui Rosati (so. Haddon Heights, NJ/Paul VI) scored two goals and forward
Bridget Boyle (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) contributed with one. Midfielder/forward
Nikki Kotelnicki (so. Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County Reg.) chipped in with an assist.
The Profs are 7-2 overall and they have won seven straight games. The Fords have a 4-4 record. Goalie
Carly DeMarco (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) stopped five shots for her third shutout. Haverford goalie Danielle Rette (jr. New Egypt, NJ/Peddie School) made 13 saves and there were three defensive stops. Rowan compiled 21 shots while Haverford took 10.
Rosati started the scoring with an unassisted goal at 3:15. She dribbled into the circle and blasted a shot past Rette. Her second score came at 27:41, which was a low shot in front of the goal. Rosati has five goals this season. Boyle hit the left side of the cage for the final tally (51:55) with a pass from Kotelnicki. In nine games, Boyle has compiled 25 points with 11 goals and three assists.
Next week, Rowan returns home against Wesley College on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.
