Box Score WASHINGTON, DC  – Forward/midfielder Nikki Kotelnicki scored twice to lead the Rowan University field hockey team over host Catholic University, 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
 
Kotelnicki (so. Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County Reg.) gave the Profs a 1-0 advantage at 16:49 with an unassisted goal.  She knocked a rebound into the cage (46:41) for the second score.  Forward Rachel Day (jr. Columbia, MD/Atholton) spoiled the shutout with 4:06 remaining. 
 
Rowan improves to 2-2 overall.  It was the first loss on the season for Catholic (2-1).  The Profs' goalie Carly DeMarco (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made five saves and back Skyler Pino (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) recorded a defender save.  For the Cardinals, goalie Analisa Scott (sr. Hershey, PA/Lower Dauphin) turned away six shots.
