Women's Lacrosse Ends Regular Season With A 24-5 Win Over Ramapo

Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's lacrosse team concluded its regular season on Saturday afternoon with a 24-5 victory over Ramapo College.
 
Rowan honored its seniors after the game. Midfielder Brittany Bollendorf (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.), defender Jess Casterline (sr. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan), attack Rachel Emerson (sr. Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) and defender/midfielder Kelly O'Brien (jr. Kendall Park, NJ/South Brunswick) played their final regular season home game today.
 
The Profs have a mark of 11-5 and they are 5-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). Rowan will be the second seed in the NJAC Championship Tournament and host a semifinal contest on Wednesday, May 4 at 7 p.m. against an opponent to be determined. The Roadrunners end their campaign with a 6-10 overall record and they are 0-6 in the conference.
 
Profs' goalie Erin Horner (so. Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) played 50:02 and made three saves. Goalie Emma Frost (fr. Stewartsville, NJ/Warren Hills Reg.) played the final 9:58. Ramapo goalie Jessica Meyers (so. Smithtown, NY/Smithtown W.) stopped seven shots in 48:15 of action. Goalie Monica Bubello (so. Middletown, NJ/Middletown S.) recorded one save in the last 11:45.
 
Attack Rachel Hofbauer (jr. Totowa, NJ/Wayne Valley) scored six goals. Attack Danielle Hubbs (jr. Shamong, NJ/Seneca) collected two goals and two assists. Midfielder Ali Herbert (jr. Little Egg Harbor, NJ/Pinelands Reg.) recorded two goals, one assist and 11 draw controls. Attacks Alex DeGaris (so. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough), Megan Donnelly (jr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.), Kim Doyle (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) and Emerson each tallied two goals.
 
Attack Jess Havers (fr. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) and Casterline chipped in with one goal and two assists apiece. Midfielder Mikala Gillespie (fr. Woodbine, NJ/Ocean City), defenders Reese Parr (fr. Freehold, NJ/Howell) and Giselle Cortes (jr. Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) and attack Haley Symons (fr. Harrington Park, NJ/Northern Valley Old Tappan) each added one goal
 
For Ramapo, midfielder Lindsay Hughes (sr. Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley) scored three goals. Midfielder Alyssa Tachon (so. Pequannock, NJ/Pequannock) hit the back of the net twice. Attack Brianna Himpele (so. Manchester, NJ/Manchester) had one assist.
