Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ  – The College of New Jersey baseball team defeated Rowan University, 10-1 on Thursday.
 
Right-hander Brandon Zachary (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.) pitched a complete game for the victory.  He (5-0) scattered five hits and only allowed one earned run.  Righty Steve Priolo (jr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) had the loss.
 
The Lions are 20-4 overall and 5-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.  The Profs are 14-11 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
 
For TCNJ, shortstop Zachary Shindler (so. Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) was three for four at the plate with two doubles, one RBI and three runs scored.  Catcher CJ Gearhart (jr. Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville), left fielder Mike Follet (so. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) and second baseman Ben Varone (jr. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) each contributed with two RBIs.  First baseman Alex Christian (jr Milltown, NJ/Spotswood) scored three runs and Gearhart crossed the plate one time. 
 
Rowan shortstop Jason Clapper (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) was two for four.  Left fielder Eric Oliver (sr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) had one hit (three at bats) and one run.  Third baseman Matt Jolly (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) tallied one hit and one RBI.
 
The Profs travel to The College of New Jersey on Friday, April 15 for a 3:30 p.m. game.
