Box Score BETHLEHEM, PA – The Rowan University baseball team came from behind for an 11-8 win at Moravian College on Wednesday.
The Profs scored five runs in the eighth inning for the victory. Left fielder
Eric Oliver (sr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) doubled in two runs and second baseman
Evan Hughes (sr. Wilmington, DE)/Alexis I. duPont) had a RBI single. Oliver scored on shortstop
Jason Clapper's (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) ground out. Third baseman
Matt Jolly (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) registered a RBI base hit, scoring Hughes.
Jolly ended the game with three hits (five at bats), three RBIs and one run. Oliver totaled two hits, a double, two RBIs and two runs. Clapper contributed with two hits, one double, two RBIs and one run. Designated player

Dylan Johannink (sr. Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) pitched the last two innings for the save. Pitcher Anthony Zaloga (sr. Tresckow, PA/Hazleton) took the loss.
Rowan improves to 14-10 overall while Moravian has a 13-14 record. For the Greyhounds, center fielder Anthony Gaetaniello (jr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) went three for five with a double and four runs. First baseman Charles Savite (sr. Hackettstown, NJ/West Morris Central) recorded three RBIs and scored one run. Third baseman Alex Bull (sr. Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson Fair Haven Reg.) tallied one hit, two RBIs and one run. Right fielder Mike Mittl(fr. Bethlehem, PA/Liberty), left fielder Austin Markowski (fr. Neshanic Station, NJ/Somerville) and designated hitter Logan Welles (so. Belvidere, NJ/Belvidere) posted one RBI apiece.
The Profs scored six runs in the sixth inning and the Greyhounds had one in the bottom half for an 8-6 advantage. Clapper produced a RBI double down the left field line. Jolly knocked in two runs with a single to left center field. Strickland's double brought home Jolly. Center fielder
Nick Gallo (jr. Sewell, NJ/Paul VI) reached base on an error and Strickland scored. Golla had a sac bunt, scoring Gallo.
The Greyhounds got on the scoreboard with one run in the first inning. Gaetaniello crossed the plate on Bull's ground out. Moravian led 6-0 after five runs in the third. With the bases loaded, Bull was hit by a pitch and Gaetaniello came home. Savite drove in three runs with a single up the middle. He scored on a single down the right field line by Welles.
