Box Score AUBURNDALE, FL – The Wheaton College (MA) baseball team won 2-0 against Rowan University on Saturday at Lake Myrtle Park. The second game of the doubleheader was rained out.

Johnny Dunn (sr. Pitman, NJ/Pitman) had the loss. He (0-2) allowed four hits and two runs.
The Lyons are 6-3 on the season and the Profs have a 6-9 record. Wheaton center fielder Jimmy Smith went two for three with a triple and two runs scored. Right fielder Matt Lavanchy contributed with two hits, a double and one RBI. Shortstop Joshua LaJoie had one RBI. For Rowan, second baseman

Steven Todd (sr. Millstone Twp., NJ/Allentown) each recorded a double.
LaJoie had a sacrifice fly that scored Smith in the first inning. Wheaton's final run came in the sixth. Smith singled up the middle and went to second on a sac bunt. He crossed the plate on Lavanchy's double down the right field line.
