Box Score LAKELAND, FL – The Endicott College (MA) baseball team edged Rowan University, 5-4 on Friday at Henley Field.
Right-hander JJ Branch was the winning pitcher. In six innings, the starter (3-0) gave up five hits and three earned runs. Righty Nick Quattro pitched the final inning for his first save. Pitcher

Left fielder/second baseman Michael DeDo was two for three with one RBI and one run. Pinch hitter Evan Lumpins contributed with two RBIs. First baseman Chris Seidl added two hits and one RBI. Shortstop Cody Hall had two hits in three at bats and scored one run. Center fielder Cam Farnham chipped in with two hits and two runs.
The Gulls improve to 4-3 overall and the Profs are 6-8 on the season. For Rowan, shortstop

Endicott had a 2-1 lead after two innings. Rowan went ahead with one run in the fourth inning. Clapper led off with a double and came home on Phillips' sacrifice fly. The Gulls went ahead 3-2 in the fifth inning. The Profs tied the score at three in the sixth and Endicott had two runs in the bottom half for a 5-3 advantage. Brown tripled to center field and scored on Clapper's double. Rowan's final run was in the seventh inning. Myers reached base with a double and crossed the plate on a single by Todd.
Rowan ends its spring break trip on Saturday, March 19 with a 10:30 a.m. doubleheader against Wheaton College (MA) in Auburndale.
