Box Score GALLOWAY, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team ended the regular season with a 5-1 win at Stockton University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Saturday.
The Profs improve to 12-6 overall and 3-3 in the conference. With the victory, Rowan clinched a spot in the NJAC Championship Tournament. The Profs are the fourth seed and will travel to top-seeded The College of New Jersey for the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. The Ospreys finish their campaign with an 8-9 record and 1-5 NJAC mark.

Forward
Bridget Boyle (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) increased the Profs' lead just under nine minutes into the second half. She shot in a loose ball after a deflected shot. Back Jacquie Fenton (so. Ocean City, NJ/Ocean City) put Stockton on the board at 49:26 with a goal off a battle in front. Boyle notched her second marker of the contest three minutes later when she tapped in a pass from midfielder/forward
Julie Johnson (fr. Mount Ephraim, NJ/Audubon). Johnson and Boyle reversed roles with 4:43 to play with Johnson finishing off a pass by Boyle.
Goalkeeper
Carly DeMarco (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made four saves in the win while goalie Emily Sorochynskyj (sr. Boonton, NJ/Boonton) stopped four shots for the Ospreys.
