Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team shut out seventh ranked Catholic University, 2-0 on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Both goals came in the second half.  Forward Johanna James (sr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) knocked in a rebound at 45:30. Forward Sam Browne (sr. West Milford, NJ/West Milford) added an insurance goal with 2:36 remaining.
 
The Profs improve to 2-2 on the season while the Cardinals are 4-1 overall.  Goalie Carly DeMaro (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made eight saves for the shutout.  Cardinal goalie Analisa Scott (jr. Hershey, PA/Lower Dauphin) stopped 15 shots.
 
Rowan is home again on Wednesday, Sept. 16 against Stevenson University at 7 p.m.
