Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's lacrosse team won, 19-10 over Drew University in a non-conference contest on Thursday night.

Becca Wood (sr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) led Rowan with four goals and one assist. Midfielder
Brittany Bollendorf (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) scored four times. Attack
Vicky Sucharski (sr. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) produced three goals and two assists. Midfielder
Jamie Blondina (sr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.) recorded three goals. Attacks
Rachel Hofbauer (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) and
Rachel Emerson (jr. Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) each scored twice. Midfielder
Ali Herbert (so. Little Egg Harbor, NJ/Pinelands Reg.) chipped in with one goal and controlled seven draws.
For Drew, midfielder Krysta Cento (sr. Garden City, NY/Garden City) tallied five goals. Midfielder/attack Nikki Kleiman (sr. Cranford, NJ/Cranford), midfielder Morgan Mason (so. Cranford, NJ/Cranford) and attack Anna Fiorini (so. Bethel, CT/Bethel) registered one goal and one assist apiece. Defender/midfielder Nicole Kinney (fr. West Caldwell, NJ/James Caldwell) and attack Theresa Shafron (so. Roxbury, NJ/Roxbury) each added one goal.
The Profs have an overall record of 8-6 and the Rangers are 9-5. Rowan goalie
Erin Horner (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) made 12 saves. Drew goalie Gianna Minogue (sr. Sayville, NY/Sayville) stopped nine shots.
The Profs held an 8-7 lead at halftime. Rowan scored five times to begin the second stanza as Herbert (32:59), Hofbauer (33:45), Bollendorf (34:09), Wood (35:12) and Sucharski (42:15) each hit the back of the net once for a 13-7 advantage. Cento made it 13-8 (43:03), then the Profs tallied five goals in a row for an 18-8 lead with 11:50 remaining. Cento scored twice (50:24 and 51:48) to cut the deficit to eight (18-10), but Blondina wrapped up the scoring with 1:59 on the clock.
Rowan scored the first goal of the contest as Wood converted a free position attempt at the 1:03 mark. The Profs would never trail, although the Rangers did tie the game at 1-1 on a free position goal by Shafron (1:59) and at six on a tally by Mason (23:33).
Rowan hosts Eastern University in the regular season finale on Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m.
