Box Score MAHWAH, NJ – The Rowan University women's lacrosse team won 24-7 at Ramapo College in a conference game on Saturday.
 
The 24 goals scored tied the University record for goals in a game. It has happened four other times. Attack Becca Wood (sr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) produced seven goals and two assists. Midfielder Jamie Blondina (sr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.) scored six goals. Midfielder Brittany Bollendorf (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) recorded three goals and two assists. Attack Rachel Hofbauer (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) tallied two goals.
 
Midfielder Ali Herbert (so. Little Egg Harbor, NJ/Pinelands Reg.) added one goal and one assist. Attacks Rachel Emerson (jr. Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown), Catie Herod (fr. Ocean Twp, NJ/Ocean Twp.), Kim Doyle (fr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) and Alex DeGaris (fr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) along with defender Jess Casterline (jr. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) each chipped in with one goal. Attacks Vicky Sucharski (sr. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) and Chelsey Taggart (jr. Holmdel, NJ/Holmdel) had one assist apiece.
 
Attack Lindsay Hughes (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley) led Ramapo with five goals. Attack Victoria Cunningham (fr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) and defender/midfielder Katie Duca (so. West Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) each scored one goal. Midfielder Alyssa Tachon (fr. Pequannock, NJ/Pequannock) registered one assist.
 
Rowan goalie Erin Horner (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) played 38:44 and made three saves. Megan Welch (fr. Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) stopped one shot in 21:16 of action. Ramapo Goalie Tara Ward (fr. Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Pleasant) recorded four saves. Rowan has an overall mark of 6-6 and the Profs are 3-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Ramapo is 5-7 with a 1-3 conference record.
 
The Profs play their final road game of the regular season at Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday, April 21 at 4 p.m.
