Box Score ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – The Rowan University field hockey team scored two goals in the final minutes for a 3-2 win at Elizabethtown College on Thursday.
 
At 68:36, forward Johanna James (sr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) tied the score at two when she hit the cage on a scramble.  Back Marisa Marini (sr. Carneys Point, NJ/Padua Academy (DE)) recorded the game-winner with 32 seconds left.  She knocked in a pass at the left post from James. 
 
The Profs are 12-5 overall while the Blue Jays have a 9-6 record.  Rowan goalie Carly DeMarco (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) stopped seven shots.  For Elizabethtown, goalie Margo Donlin (fr. Wilmington, DE/Concord) made five saves.
 
The Blue Jays led 2-1 after the first half.  Forward Emma Christman (so. Kimberton, PA/Owen J. Roberts) put Elizabethtown on the scoreboard at 5:04 with an unassisted tally.  Marini made the score 1-1 nine minutes later.  She had a pass from forward Rachel Galante (fr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Collingswood).  Forward Andrea Keady (gr. New Hartford, NY/New Hartford) put the Blue Jays ahead with a one-timer and forward Alyssa Aichele (sr. Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Catholic) had the assist.
 
Rowan ends the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 31 at William Paterson University.  The conference game starts at 5:30 p.m.
