Box Score EWING, NJ – The College of New Jersey field hockey team won 2-1 over Rowan University in a conference game on Tuesday night. 
 
With 4:20 left, forward Elizabeth Morrison (fr. Stonington, CT/Stonington) scored the winning goal with an assist from back Lexi Smith (jr. Florence, NJ/Florence Twp.) on a penalty corner.
 
The second ranked Lions are 13-1 overall and 4-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC).  The Profs have a 10-5 record with a 3-1 conference mark.  TCNJ goalie Kelly Schlupp (jr. Holland, PA/Council Rock S.) made 10 saves.  For Rowan, goalie Carly DeMarco (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) turned away 13 shots.
 
Forward Rachel Galante (fr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Collingswood) scored Rowan's goal at 13:05 on a penalty corner by back Marisa Marini (sr. Carneys Point, NJ/Padua Academy (DE)).  It was Galante's seventh tally on the season.  Forward Taylor Barrett (fr. Neshanic Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central) produced the tying goal at 57:46 and back Shannon Cowles (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) had the assist.
