Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team shut out William Paterson University, 8-0 on Friday evening.
The Profs are 9-2-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Pioneers have a 3-9-2 record and 1-5-1 conference mark.

Rowan was ahead 5-0 after the first half. New started the scoring at 10:26 with a shot from 25 yards on a feed from Cella. The second goal came on a penalty kick (15:06) by New.
Melissa Kelly followed with two straight scores at 25:05 and 28:45. Caballero headed in a corner kick by Hicks with 33 seconds left.
In the second stanza, McCarry hit the net at 53:52 and Williscroft registered the assist.
Melissa Kelly's third goal came at 63:13. She headed in a pass from Kitzinger. Pagnani ended the scoring (77:31) with a shot to the left side of the net and Coletti assisted.
Rowan travels to NJAC opponent New Jersey City University on Saturday, Oct. 24 for a 1 p.m. game.
