Bozinis Nets the Lone Goal as #4 Women's Soccer Shuts Out New Paltz, 1-0, to Remain Unbeaten

McCarthy posts her fifth solo shutout of the year

GLASSBORO, NJ - A first-half goal by Cailey Bozinis was all Rowan needed as the #4 Profs shut out New Paltz, 1-0, in the first meeting of the teams in NJAC women's soccer action. Rowan remains undefeated at 9-0 (4-0 NJAC).

Enya McCarthy made two saves to post her fifth solo shutout of the season.

Bozinis tallied the goal at 18:19 and that score held up the rest of the way. From the top right corner of the box, the junior blasted a shot to the far side of the net for the unassisted tally. It was her third goal of the season, which have all been game-winning goals.

Rowan outshot New Paltz (5-5; 1-3), 12-7, and held a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.

The Profs will take on Montclair State on Wednesday, October 4 in a 6 p.m. start.
