Box Score STEVENSON, MD – Forward Holli Eppley scored the winning goal for the Stevenson University field hockey team in a 2-1 overtime victory against Rowan University.
 
Eppley (so. York, PA/West York) hit the cage on a breakaway at 6:58 into the extra period after a pass from forward Caitlin Dempsey (sr. Fallston, MD/Fallston).  The Mustangs have a 3-1 record while the Profs are 2-1 overall.  The game started late because of two lightning delays.
 
Stevenson took 16 shots and Rowan had 13.  Mustangs' goalie Gabriella Brooks (so. Bel Air, MD/Patterson Mill) stopped nine shots while Profs' goalie Carly DeMarco (fr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made six saves.
 
Eppley put Stevenson on the scoreboard first at 9:59.  She tapped in a cross by Dempsey.  Rowan tied the score at 41:19 with a goal by forward Johanna James (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City).  James knocked the ball in that was in the air from forward Sam Browne (jr. West Milford, NJ/West Milford).
